What's going on with Myers down there? I see he's only played 4 games. I always liked his upside.

Hard to say for sure except for maybe that Hynes personally just isn't fond of the way he plays, which is strange considering he was mainly acquired for his size and the impression he should fit in well in Hynes' system. The one feasible reason I've heard is that Hynes just prefers the more defensively inclined Borowiecki and Benning on the bottom pair leaving Myers the odd man out. Then again, Hynes has played
Ben Harpur in just as many games as Myers, and Harpur just might be the worst defensemen to dress for a game in the NHL this season.

Either way, Myers is essentially being treating as the eight defenseman right now, which is kind of mind boggling.

Forsberg on IR is sadly nothing shocking to hear at this point. I know there were freak circumstances involved this time, but the broken record is still skipping. We didn't even get the customary hot Forsberg start to kick off the year either. I never thought I'd be saying this two years ago, but Poile may really need to weigh his options come trade deadline time.

Kind of surprised McCarrron was one of the first guys up... Unless the plan is purely to use him as the 13th guy, then maybe it makes sense to bring him up ahead of Glass or Egor.
